Storyline is unbeatable

When I played the campaign for this game I wanted more of its thrilling gameplay, it is definatly by far the best campaign for any game ever... so far.
The hardened edition is not worth getting, you don't get much for your buy, I got the prestige edition not this one which was defiantly good value for money, although the goggles are not brilliant so I would go with the normal edition if you have not yet bought it, but I really hate the cover for the normal edition
The reason I have put 4 star for fun and only 3 star overall is because of the multiplayer, the multiplayer is great its very good, I hate playing online because the players ruin the game, they stay in one spot or run around without aiming down sights, people want to play the game to be the best and the highest level or their addicted, noone plays it for fun which is why it has such bad mulitplayer.
The game defiantly isn't bad, its the players that ruin it, the campaign is so good and cinematic its unbeatable.

MW1 or MW2?

This game is the inferior follow up to Cod4, totally unbalanced and a rushed development game. Play cod4, its better online and offline. MW2 is just plain frustrating and awful. COD4 is far far better.

Ignore the haters on Amazon... this game is simply the best online war experience to date. Most of the people that value this game as less than 3 stars either have had a problem with their delivery, can't get to grips with the new weapons, or are simply haters of the franchise. I personally think that this is a worthy new installment to the Call of Duty series and that Infinity Ward has once again raised the benchmark for FPS gaming. This claim will be put to the test soon by the soon to be released Bad Company 2 but time will tell.

The single player campaign is almost cinematic, with a great story and more twists than Jack Bauer could put up with. The new technology in both single and multiplayer has added an interesting new angle to the game, making it alot more difficult to find the "ultimate" class. Nothing seems to be easily beatable unless you are God's gift with a sniper rifle.

The graphics seem to have had an upgrade which I thought was an impossible feat following the release of COD4: Modern Warfare way back when. Personally glad to see the game back in the capable hands of Infinity Ward rather than Treyarch, I feel that this game has gone from strength to strength and with DLC coming soon apparently, this game will only get better. COD Vietnam is coming soon from the very same company that ruined World at War, so I think I'll be playing this along with Bad Company for years to come.

As I said at the start, ignore the bad feedback and go and buy this game today. It's essential. The Hardened Edition is not necessary and I doubt I would have paid the extra money for an artwork book but thats something for the purchasers discretion.

Okay, Modern Warfare 2. This game had possibly the WORST campaign I have ever played. It made little or no sence and was focused more on action packed rubbish than a decent story. Modern Warfare 2 could learn a lot from games like Halo 3/Halo 3: ODST which both have PERFECT campaigns. Also Spec Ops is pathetic, i'd much rather look at a cabbage for an hour than play Spec Ops. TOTAL FAILURE! Also The Multiplayer is dreadful, that is if you can get it to work & if you do EVERYONE camps like n00bs.
