Much lighter and easier to manipulate than my old petrol-driven mower. Gone are the days of multiple, strenuous, fearsome tugging to start the thing. Needs a bit of effort to push it along at the lower cutting settings, but worth it for the other benefits.
Battery easily charged and lasts well, more than enough power for 3 complete passes over my 40 sq metre lawn. Leaves nice stripes too. |

We thought long & hard about this purchase as it is by no means a 'cheaply priced ' product.
There was also a great deal of decision making as to which model - trying to decide how much grass we had etc!!
We needed a mower which could also be used on a separate piece of rough grass away from our house/garden, the only other option would have been a petrol mower but we were reluctant as they're heavy (can be) , noisy & fumy. Plus the need to have fuel available.
This lawnmower has been a pleasure to use & takes very little time to cut our grass - I guess we have about (at a very rough guess!) 40 feet long x 40 feet wide at the back & 10-15 feet wide x 10 long at the front. The rough area of grass (away from house) is 30-40 feet wide x 10 feet long.
With a single charge we can manage to do all the grass. It is very light to push ( I was whizzing it up & down the grass!) so ideal for us ladies!!!
The cuttings box is easy to empty too.
Yes as some reviewers have said it is 'plastic' but nevertheless feels of very good quality ( as you would expect from Bosch).
I & my husband have no hesitation in recommending this mower even at this price!
We have found it cuts (no pun intended!) the time needed to cut the grass & leaves an attractive stripe effect too.

| This is the second cordless lawnmower that I have owned, and it is vastly superior to the previous machine bought 13 years ago from another manufacturer. It cuts very well, and the central carrying handle makes it easy to lift with one hand and transport it up and down the innumerable steps in our garden. The grass box is quite big enough for its purpose, and easy to empty. The Rotak is particularly impressive in respect of fast recharging - about 45 minutes from fully discharged, compared with a whole day for the previous machine! The only minor criticism that I would mention is that the cutting height adjustment is quite stiff. |

the Rotak 34 LI cordless cuts the lawn beautifully even though it is not a cylinder mower but a rotary. The roller means the lawn stripes are automatic and you do not fear dropping a wheel in the flower bed.
Easy to use and it cut my lawn 4 times before needing a recharge even keeping the battery in the mower when not in use.The battery is best stored in the cellar to preserve charge...apparently. |

So far, excellent.
The freedom from cables is fantastic and it collects the cuttings well.
One battery charge is sufficient for a thorough cut of my small garden.
Time will tell how long the battery lasts - online replacement batteries seem to be a slightly different rating, so further uncertainty there. |
