| I'm disappointed. I read all the reviews before I placed my order and what impressed me was the claim that this epilator picked up hairs as small as "a grain of sand". It doesn't! In fact, it leaves quite a lot of hairs behind despite repeated applications! I will try the suggestion that short, quick strokes are better than long sweeping ones and see if this makes a difference. A friend also recommended letting the epilator barely touch the skin as she felt this "hovering" technique helped her. |
Like it much

Well i bought it as a gift for my girl.
i can't rate it much , because I'm not using it.
But I can feel finiched product if you know what i mean:)
I know that you can use it even under water, and its doing a very good job.
No faults whats so ever.

| An innovative product that works under water! The best product that Braun added to the Silk Epil Brand... |

Having 2 speeds is brilliant, fast for legs and slow for bikini line and underarm, the first time was very painful and had to do in 2 sessions, then when it had regrown, the pain dropped by 60% for me.
I use it in the bath, alot less painful and a little shower gel help it glide smoothly over the skin.
I now can use it in or out of the bath, just keeping on top of regrowth is alot easier.
The power last longer than the 40mins stated, it's easy and light to use, very impressed. |
Not what i expected !

I was expecting much better that this from Braun.
1)Water-- I used up so much water that i dread my water bill.why? well because you have to lather to use the epliator for an even glide which means that the water is running the whole time till you have finished your body parts.
2) soap-- I used up almost a third of my soap as the water kept washing it of my body.yes i know it would have been economical to turn the water off and use it, but then you get cold and who wants to stand in a cold place shivering ,besides the warm water helps soothe the pain.
3) Pain-- Arggggggg! before the pain was dry now it`s wet and still painful! arggg arggg! no other word for it!
4)Men- your other half finds it in the shower after you and decides to wear the battery down by using it on his back.that added with him running up the water bill too and using the rest of the soap!
5)Battery - doesnt last as long as it should considering how long you are having to use it in the shower, and the fact that if you are in a hurry or have an emergency and need to use it...and it is not charged, you cant, till it is charged.how enoying is that if you just wanted to top up your arms cos you decided to wear your sleevless shirt.you have to WAIT!
6)Light- How can you use the light when all you can see is loads of lather on your body,so the light is pretty useless.
7)Expensive-Even though i got it at a cheaper price than RRP it still was expensive!
I think i have covered most of the points.
I shall stick to my dry epilator.
Over and out !
