I bought this for my husband's birthday but I love it
It really hits the spot if you are feeling weary. The controls mean that you can pick and choose the intensity of the massage and where to position it. Really good.
It also was deivered in about two days - no probs. |

Received the massager just yesterday and I'm satisfied with the purchase. I had been looking for a suitable homedics back & shoulder massager with heat for a couple of weeks and after some research found this listing which is the best price that I have seen for this model.
I have to admit that my husband liked the massager more than I did and would have rated it 5. For some reason it was much more effective on his back than mine. The good part is that this model is adjustable and with little adjustment I was able to enjoy the shiatsu & spot massages, still I would not equate it to a "human touch massage", but it does work well.
I am 5'4" and it covered most of my back, I would have liked if the massaging area was slightly more( say 2-3 inches more on the length & breadth) than it covers now.
So, all in all a good buy. |

Not a lot to say really, this product looks to well made and does wxactly what it is supposed to.
I would recommend it to anyone who has backache type problems, (assuming they have consulted the doc; first)
It is also very good for providing a relaxing massage. |

I love this product!
I sit at my PC from 8am till 5pm then go home and sit at my PC for a couple of hours in the evening too. I need a massage most days! This is the closest that I'll get to a real massage without the hassle of having to book an appointment and spend 30 quid a time.
I was delighted when I opened the packaging when it arrived to see that I had been sent the version with the heat option - even though the listing product code seemed to say that it would not be this version. Added bonus!
It does take a bit of getting used to - it feels quite rough (like the real thing) if you lean back against the cushion but if you sit with a towel between you and the cushion it helps until you are used to the feeling.
I find the 15 minutes (before the auto shut-off switches the cushion off - its not recommended to have longer) goes very fast and I'm almost floating by the time its finished.
The control unit let you stop the massage rollers on any spot on your back if you want to work on a particularly tight knot, for up to three minutes. You can also adjust the width of the rollers to suit the shape of your back.
The programmes on the control unit let you choose upper, lower or whole back areas too, so really its the most comprehensive package on the market.
I bought the cushion about 4 weeks ago and the offer price was exceptionally good. Over half off. The American market seems to supply these cushions at a far more sensible price that the UK. I almost considered buying one from the States, then fortunately Amazon came up trumps and for a brief few days the price was within my budget. The key is to keep checking back every few days for price changes!
Overall, very pleased with it and combined with starting a gym membership, I am feeling much more invigorated. |
